  1. Hi Marlene,
i think I looked at this assignment from a different perspecive than technology tools. I thought it was more of a collaboration perspective. I very much like what you have presented. I am curently in collaboration with another teacher on story board. She is very technology oriented as a history teacher in our building. Nice graphic organization.

  2. Hi Marlene,
You list and describe many excellent resources. Thanks. I am curious about your comment re Facebook. I think it could actually be used for education if structured for it, e.g. Walden Library uses it to share and communicate a wealth of information. Finally, I have done a few ISTE seminars via Second Life and find the avatar learning an interesting experience. (I had to get my 12 year old to help me figure out how to fly :)

  3. Hi Joy,
Cute Doggie! Thanks for your input.
I wish I knew more about storyboards.
Collaboration is the key and I am currently interested in developing my own PLN.
    Any suggestions?
    Have a great week!

  4. Hi Soraya,
I totally relate to using my son in multimedia projects and miss him terribly this semester since he left home and is at college.
I did not realize how dependent I was on his help. It amazes me that he figured all of this out on his own, from making videos to social networking and everything in between.

As far as Facebook in K-12 educational environment, that seems to be the least utilized of the technology tools by teachers and librarians, although it may become more popular as security issues improve.

    Thanks for you input!!

  5. Hi Marlene,

Since everything was together, I thought I had already posted on your blog. :) You really covered everything and I would like to address Facebook. I have a facebook account. I joined facebook last year as a result of coming to Walden University. I use it as an educational device coupled with family events and activities. It is a great social networking device to have at your fingertips.
